AngryHosting
AngryHosting is connected to the world via redundant connections to Level3, AboveNet, and Qwest.

Our servers are connected with Cisco and 3Com gigabit ethernet switching equipment, and are load-balanced with a Nortel Networks Ace Director. We utilize Dell, HP and SuperMicro servers running FreeBSD or RedHat Enterprise operating systems. You can view our Network Status page to check status of our servers and the various services running on them.

The load balancer ensures that connections remain fast during periods of heavy traffic or even in the event that a server fails by intelligently choosing which server to route requests to. If a server fails for whatever reason, the load balancer will stop sending connections to it and direct new connections to the remaining servers in the server pool. When a server is restored, the load balancer automatically shifts traffic from the existing servers and brings the new server into the mix. We balance HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SMTP, POP3, IMAP and other connections across a total of ten servers.

Our data is stored on a dedicated file server with 1.2TB of RAID5 capacity and room to grow. This helps protect your data and ensure system uptime even in the event of a disk failure. The servers are connected to the file server with gigabit ethernet. Furthermore, we backup all customer data onto a separate, dedicated backup server just in case.
